Get the Scoop: An Insider’s Perspective on the Pro-Blogging Secrets Course

Hey there, I wanted to share my experience about a course I recently tried out. Before we dive in, you should know that I paid for this course on my own and this is not some paid content stuff. I’m only sharing my thoughts, no discounts or affiliate links.

I really believe in having a side job apart from your full-time one, even if it’s small. It never hurts to have backup ways to make some cash, just in case. BrokeGIRLrich is my personal favorite side job.

Why do I love it? Firstly, it constantly teaches me something new about managing finances and holds me accountable. The fantastic community is another reason, despite sometimes life getting insane and me not being as involved as I wish. Plus, let’s not forget the extra money it brings in.

I’m a freelance stage manager by day. Having this website as my extra income resource that I can tap into from anywhere, anytime, is just awesome.

If you’re curious about starting a blog of your own, take a peek at my previous posts on how to do so, and how long it took me to cover my initial investment.

I saw my income experiencing a steady climb until I hit unemployment this spring. That was when I thought of taking a blogging course as I felt I had hit a block. I shortlisted a few courses, including the Elite Blogging Academy which was a bit too pricey at $797, considering my unstable income.

Finally, I chose the Pro-Blogging Secrets course by Bob Lotich at the Community level, worth $299. It seemed like a complete package, covering all aspects like content creation, graphics, traffic-building, and business tips. It even had bonus content on WordPress site setup and Pinterest optimization.

I especially enjoyed the bonus section on building an email list and getting free publicity, which gave me plenty of future ideas. Another useful takeaway was the homework section, which offered actionable steps after each lesson.

In terms of things I wasn’t too thrilled about, the video content was a bit of a downer. It just isn’t my thing, and Bob tends to be a bit chatty. Plus, the video quality could have been better.

Each module mostly taught just one new thing which I most likely already knew about. And the focus on Adsense was a bit too much for me.

That being said, if you’re a newbie in the blogging world, this could be a beneficial investment. However, if you’ve been in the game for a while like me, there might be too many repetitions for you. The Pinterest bonus course truly stands out, and I recommend taking it if you can do it alone.

Ultimately, this course did have some benefits for me. It made me dig deeper when I felt I wasn’t learning enough, and therefore, pushed me to improve my blogging skills.

Curious to hear about experiences from others. Anyone else enrolled in the Pro-Blogging Secrets course? Or perhaps tried the Elite Blogging Academy or Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing? Share your thoughts!
