How I Saved Money This Week
Hey there! Just wanted to share a bit about how I managed to save some bucks this week. I truly believe in celebrating the little victories, because they all add up, you know?
1. Razor Blades: I have a thing for Intuition razor blades, mainly because they save me a ton of time. The soap’s already there on the blade, so it’s super quick and efficient. They’re a bit costly (around 5 bucks each) and don’t always last long, but this week, I found them on sale at CVS with a $5 discount. So, even though the scent wasn’t exactly my favorite, I decided a smooth shave and a heavier wallet are worth it!
2. Dobot: My Dobot account used to help me save, but they started charging $1.99/month, so I cancelled it. Now I’m in search of another no-fee savings app. If I don’t find one, I feel pretty confident in my ability to manage my savings without shelling out $24 a year.
3. Discount Store: I needed a new bath mat and some cleaning stuff. Instead of stopping by Rite Aid or Kmart, I decided to try this place called Deals II Discounts. Despite its sketchy exterior, I got all I needed for less than $7. Pretty sweet, right?
4. Actors Fund: A while back, I realized I needed to address some of my mental health issues. After doing a bit of digging, I learned about the Actors Fund which can provide stuff at discounted rates. Still exploring it, but it feels like the start of a good move.
5. Pretzels: As a part of a rewards club, Auntie Anne’s gave me a free pretzel since my birthday is coming up. Looking forward to more birthday freebies this month!
So, there you have it – my little money triumphs this week. How about you? Any small yet significant savings updates to share?
Whizzing off now. Remember, every cent counts!
