Tidy Up Your Space
Not long ago, I found power in things as simple as list making. It really helped me regain control over my summer plans. Another useful tip that I’ve recently discovered is keeping a clutter-free environment.
Now, I’ve spent several years traveling and you’d think I’d be a pro at packing. But I gotta tell you, packing always feels like a gigantic task. I used to sit there staring at my empty suitcase feeling utterly helpless. What really helped was tidying up my room, starting with making my bed. It might sound odd, but it did wonders to my productivity.
Sometimes, taking that first step is the hardest part, no matter how small it is. Making my bed is my first step. It makes me feel accomplished and ready to tackle something else. Plus, it offers a clear, organized space where I can systematically lay out all the things I need to pack.
In my college days, I had the same habit with my desk. The desk needed to be neat and clean, with only the project or paper I was working on allowed to invade its space. This practice hasn’t changed—even today, I like my laptop screen uncluttered, with only a few essential icons on it.
And a cherry on top? If you have an eBay account, you could turn the clutter into cash! So, let’s start decluttering and see what we can accomplish with a fresh, clean slate. Who knows, you just might find a treasure among your clutter.
