Is Influenster Truly the Real Deal?

Can You Really Get Stuff from Influenster?
Back in the day, I listed Influenster as a top choice for snagging full-sized freebies. However, since “free” means trading some time for those samples and having a stable address for shipments, I’d put it aside as I was always on the move.

Recently, when an Influenster survey popped up, I thought, “Why not give it another try?” I’d be settled for a couple of months, and I wanted to see whether my year-and-a-half inactivity would affect my chances.

After filling out the survey, I logged back onto Influenster, finding that the layout had changed. Now, there’s a “Snaps” section, full of mini-surveys. I filled out some Snaps, making sure all my social media were still properly linked.

The very next day, I was offered a #SpiceVoxBox. If you’re wondering, VoxBox is Influenster’s term for the packages of samples they send out. Despite the changes, the nature of the VoxBox had stayed the same.

Here’s a sneak peek at my latest VoxBox:

– Good Health Veggie Straws: Tasty snacks. If you enjoy a good veggie chip, they’re worth a try.
– Foot Petals insoles: A nice surprise. These gave a comfortable boost to my worn-out shoes.
– Yogi tea: I already like this brand, so trying a new flavor was welcome.
– Soapbox shampoo & conditioner: The conditioner was okay, but I’m devoted to my favorite brand of shampoo, Head & Shoulders.
– Sinful Colors SinfulShine: Free nail polish? Yes, please.
– Boots Botanics Organic Day Cream: This moisturizer was okay, didn’t leave my skin feeling sticky or clogged.
– Not Your Mother’s Whip It Up Mousse: Sadly, it made my hair frizzy. But it did smell great.

Overall, if you don’t mind spending some time to review products and post on social media, Influenster is a good deal. You might feel like you’re advertising, especially when using hashtags on your social media posts, but that’s part of the deal.

Is Influenster for you? Give it a try and decide for yourself. And remember, each product offers you the chance to win more goodies if you complete certain tasks. I’ve won a few times!
