Title: Tips for Saving Big on Your Hawaii Adventure
Hey there, budget travelers! If you’re like me, you’re always on the hunt for deals to make your trips more affordable. My upcoming Hawaii vacation is no exception, and I’ve found a fantastic tool – it’s called the GoOahu Card!
I’m planning on spending a good chunk of my time on Oahu and I was absolutely thrilled to find this money-saving gem. Just so you know, I might come off as overly enthusiastic in this post, but I promise you, I’m just sharing how happy I am to lower that vacation bill.
This isn’t my first rodeo though. Ten years ago, I embarked on a post-graduation London trip, with just about enough cash to cover basic expenses. We stumbled upon the London Pass, which included entry to major attractions. Needless to say, this was a game-changer and our ticket to affordability.
We were so cash-strapped that even peanut butter and jelly sandwiches were a luxury. But with this pass, we had access to all the great spots at a fraction of the cost, and from that moment, I was hooked to this concept.
Since then, I’ve used similar city passes in Edinburgh, Amsterdam, and San Francisco. I’m even thinking of exploring the sights of my own city, New York, with a city pass over a weekend.
There are a couple of well-known city pass providers both in America and Canada – GoCity and CityPass. Both offer significant savings, especially if you plan on visiting major attractions.
As you can imagine, seeing the GoOahu Card while planning my Hawaii vacation was a sight for sore eyes. It changed my planning process from overwhelming to enjoyable. The best part? All the ‘must-see’ sights I found on my research were included in the pass.
Long story short, the GoOahu card is our primary money-saving tool for taking in the sights of this island paradise. Based on my calculations, we should be saving about 50% on entrance fees. Now that’s what I call a great deal!
If any of you have any experience with the GoOahu card or have any suggestions for must-see spots, I’d love to hear from you. Let’s make this trip unforgettable, and affordable. Safe travels folks!
