Easy Money Side Jobs
When I was little, I used to collect fallen crab apples from my grandparent’s yard, and in return, I’d get a penny per apple. My grandma called it “pin money”, a term that stuck with me. Pin money is a bit of cash that you can earn from small jobs. Now, it’s not like a full-time job or anything, but it could give your income that little extra push to let you splurge a bit.
Practically speaking, it’s something like this: you earn a bit of money from your Etsy shop, and it helps you fund a trip. Or the cash you make from freelancing lets you treat yourself every now and then. But even if you only need an extra $10 or $20 to grab a movie ticket or buy a birthday gift, there are certain low commitment gigs you can try out.
– Mystery Shopping: You could sign up on some websites and start making money the same day. Typically this rewards you with about $5 to $20 per shopping assignment.
– Babysitting: If you have friends or neighbors with kids, let them know you’re available for babysitting from time to time. Charges could range from $10 to $20 an hour.
– eBay: Decluttering can be profitable too. List your unwanted stuff on eBay and something that’s a gem to someone else might just make you a bit of money on the side.
– Donate Fluids: Yeah, it’s a little unconventional, but donating your blood or plasma can bring you some income, given you’re not needle-phobic.
With these little efforts, you can make and save some spare money for fun spending. How would you put extra cash like that to use, eh? And if you need more ideas, I’ve got plenty to spare!
